Tsentralny Resoublikansky Stadion (the Central Republican Stadium) in the city of Syktyvkar has hosted competitions for volunteer fire brigades (VFBs) of Transneft North.
Aleksandra Yudina, assistant at a chemical oil quality control laboratory of the operational environmental monitoring division affiliated with Ukhta Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate, won 3rd place in the International Youth Science and Technology Conference of Transneft and members of the International Association of Oil Transporters.
Transneft North has taken part in preliminary job placement of Ukhta State Technical University (USTU) graduates at an annual job fair.
Transneft North, a subsidiary of Transneft, has been recognized as the best company in terms of working conditions and occupational safety among oil and gas companies in the city of Ukhta in 2017. The third prize in the said category went to Ukhta Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate of the Company.
Transneft North has performed works for artificial breeding of aquatic biological resources of Gorky reservoir in Yaroslavl Oblast.
Transneft North conducted works on artificial reproduction of aquatic bioresources as part of implementation of environmental policy. The Company’s specialists together with ichthyologists and representatives of supervisory departments released 69 thousand red book sterlet young fishes with the weight of more than 6 grammes each into the rivers Sukhona and Vaga near village Cherepanikha of Vologda Region.
JSC Transneft North participated in the exhibition of achievements and capacities of regional economy sectors “Legacy of the North” held in Syktyvkar on August 20th, 2017 during the celebration of the 96th anniversary of the region. This year the exhibition featured products, goods, services and achievements of over 100 enterprises and organizations of the Komi Republic.
On 14 June 2017, the headquarters of Transneft North became the venue for public defence of graduation theses by masters from the Ukhta State Technical University (USTU) majoring in oil & gas business.
It was for the third time that a large-scale sports event, Bicycle Night 2017, was held in Ukhta on 12 June, timed to Russia’s Independence Day.This year’s night ride became the largest one over the three-year history of the event: almost 2,000 Ukhta residents of different ages took part in the Bicycle Night, including professional athletes representing Ukhta in republican and area competitions and amateurs. More than 50 Transneft North employees were among participants, too. Many people decided to bring their families to the event.
Transneft North successfully held a large-scale table-top drill aimed at elimination of a petroleum product spill (TTD).
