Transneft North, JSC Passed 2nd Inspection Audit of Its EMS, EnMS and OHMS

Inspection audit of the energy management system (EMS), environmental management system (EnMS), and occupational health management system (OHMS) has finished at production facilities of the Usinsk Regional Oil Pipeline Department of Transneft North, JSC.


By the inspection results, an auditor of the DQS international certification authority has concluded that the systems are effective and meet ISO 50001:2011, ISO 14001:2004, and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 international standards.

Substantial improvements in energy saving and effective occupational health awareness of the staff, inter alia in ensuring occupational safety and occupational injuries prevention, have been earmarked during the audit.

The audit has confirmed success in implementing the energy, environmental, and occupational health policies of Transneft, JSC, and corroborated availability of sufficient resources, including competent staff.

No need for remedial actions has been announced at the final meeting. The DQS international certification authority has been recommended to extend validity of the company’s relevant certificates. The recertification audit scheduled for November 2016 will become the next event for evaluating performance of the energy, environmental, and occupational health management systems.
