Transneft North Joins New Year Charitable Marathon

Employees of Transneft North have joined the Meshok Zhelany (A Sack of Wishes) charitable marathon announced by Transneft in the regions of its operation. Charitable campaigns dedicated to New Year and Christmas are arranged by the Company annually.

On 27 December, young specialists of the Company took part in Novogodny Utrennik (New Year Performance) at the Ukhta Social Protection Centre and gave sweet gifts to 30 children with special needs. Sweet gifts will also be given to children residing in children’s homes, orphanages and remedial schools located in Usinsk, Ukhta and Yaroslavl as well as Privodino Settlement in Arkhangelsk Region in the coming days.

From 24 to 28 December, young employees of Transneft North, dressed as Father Frost and the Snow Maiden,  visited those children with special needs and disabled children who could not attend the New Year Performance and gave them presents.

In 2018, which was declared the Year of Volunteers, Transneft North’s specialists organised more than 30 events for children living in orphanages and social children’s homes, orphans, children with special needs and children from multi-child families as well as the elderly and the disabled.
