Date of publication: 28 November 2019

In July 2019, the Company has provided assistance in transportation of passengers from the Irael and Zelenoborsk stations to the Sosnogorsk station of the Komi Republic. Due to adverse weather conditions (heavy rains), a section of railway tracks eroded, which resulted in disrupted train traffic at the Kerki station in Sosnogorsk District. At the request of the government of the Komi Republic, Transneft North provided buses for passenger transportation.

From 22 to 23 July, buses ran the following routs: the Sosnogorsk railway station – the Zelenoborsk station, the Irael station – the Sosnogorsk station. In total, about 300 passengers were transported. The average length of the route was 140 kilometres, the travel time – 3 hours. On 24 July, the train traffic through the Kerky station of the Severnaya railway was restored.
