Date of publication: 08 May 2020

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a replica of the Soviet Victory Banner was hoisted on the territory of the administrative building of Transneft North (Ukhta, the Komi Republic).

The Soviet Victory Banner is a national treasure of Russia. It was hoisted on 1 May 1945 over the Reichstag by soldiers of Idritskaya Second-Degree Kutuzov Order Rifle Division No. 150. Placing the flag is a tribute to the great feat of the winners.

In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Transneft North implements a number of charity projects aimed at preserving the memory of the deed of the victorious people. In particular, support is provided to veteran non-governmental organisations on the territory where the company operates – in the Komi Republic, Arkhangelsk, Vologda and Yaroslavl Regions.
